The Swiss have always been known to make good things...watches, knives, and pagers to name a few.

Swissphone has been making pagers for 40 years, designed for emergency services.  Swissphone pagers are designed and built in Switzerland, not outsourced to the lowest bidder.

Europe's No. 1 Fire Pager is now available in the U.S.

  • 4 Minutes stored voice
  • 32 addresses and 50 user profiles
  • Large display for clarity at a glance
  • Extremely durable
  • Compact in size
  • Additional features
  • Over 500,000 active units in the field

Swissphone pagers can be as simple or as complex
as the customers wants them to be

Display

Everything on the display is customizable; from the icons shown, to the order in which they are scrolled. If responders are confused by too many icons on the display, icons can be removed-by reprogramming the unit- giving responders a pager that has a one button operation, much like the old Keynote pager.

display

Stopwatch - How urgent is your alarm?

Once an alert has been received, the stopwatch begins on the display and does not stop until the call is acknowledged. This features tells responders how urgent their current alert is at a glance. While retrieving messages, the display alternates between the address and the alert time, giving an overview of which addresses received alerts and when.

Programming features
Pagers are customizeable and can be modified using using a PC programming kit. All features are optional.

  • Can't turn off - no more "I forgot to turn on my pager" because the pager can't be turned off with this option
  • Disable Vibrate - You only get audible alerts because the pager cannot be put into the vibrate mode. Recommendation - use this in conjunction with the "Can't turn off" feature above and you'll never hear another excuse for a missed call.
  • Disable Volume control - alert volume remains high at all times
  • Vibrate disabled during charging - When being charged, the vibrate function is disabled, so that onlz the beeping alert is available. This also prevents the pager/charger from falling (buzzing/dancing as it alerts) off your desk when in vibrate mode.
  • Disable monitor - for use in alert only paging systems
  • Call suppression - does not alert the pager if a duplicate alert is sent during a pre-determined period of time.
  • Button Beep - button are acknowledged with a small click. This sound can be turned on or off.
  • Timed reset - Overrides the squelch after a preset time, to place the pager in standby mode

batteriesNever run out of battery in the field

If a rechargeable battery runs dead in the field, firemen have very few options with most pagers. Swissphone uses a standard AA battery that can be purchased at any gas station.

Battery life

NiMH rechargeable (2200 mAh) = 180 h
Dry cell (1.5V) = 165 h

prod_1Extremely durable

Swissphone has been in business since 1969 and has always had a low return rate. For the last 24 months in North America, Swissphone has sold about 7000 units and processed less than 30 warranty repairs.

Swissphone products are manufactured at Swissphone's headquarters. To insure outstanding control quality, no parts of production are outsourced. Swissphone has a unique philosophy: "It's not how quickly you can produce units, it's 'Can you produce units that will not come back for repair?'"
